HOW WAS YOUR NYE?
I had an amazing NYE. It all started doing the midnight set at Twist which is legendary. Then, despite the madness which surrounds the past midnight on New Year's Day, we managed to drive safely to Coalville for Storm, which as you can imagine was absolutely rocking! And this is not over yet.......after a few hours sleep, we drove to Birmingham for Gatecrasher and to my surprise, people were having it big time to the back to back I was doing with Farley, considering the other DJs were playing Bounce and Trance before we got on the decks. This really shows you that the Hard Dance scene clubbers are well and truly open minded to all kinds of music. So thumbs up to them! :)

WHEN IS YOUR NEXT TRACK OUT?
I've been keeping very busy in the studio this year, I feel very inspired. My next release is on Tidy. I was honoured to be asked by the big label to do a remix for them. It is a remix of 'Good Timez', by Jon Doe. I also have done a remix of Tango from Adam M for his new label.

WHAT LABELS ARE YOU RUNNING
AT THE MOMENT?

As you know dance track sales are down compared to what they used to be. Ironically, my inspiration and enthusiasm is on the increase (lol!). So, even if it means that it doesn't look like I’m releasing much on my labels at the moment, I’m producing a fair amount of new material which I have the privilege to play and share with people when I play the tracks out. Just the way I've always liked it....make music to make people dance:) Happy days!

HOW WAS YOUR XMAS?
I have one of my sisters who lives in Spain in Marbella. She owns a lovely
French Restaurant there. This is where I spent my Christmas last year.
I also spend time there for holidays, when I get a weekend off, or go to
Paris to visit family.

WHAT TRACK NEVER LEAVES YOUR BOX?
There are 2 actually I would say that never leave my box:
' Don't Fuck with me!' and 'Rock the spot'

WHAT WAS IT LIKE TO PLAY AT FISH
BACK AT THE SOUNDSHAFT?

Fish at Soundshaft was the very first club outside Trade to play this kind of
music. It was new to the straight scene, innovative therefore generating
a lot of excitement. It all started from there really, and the rest is history.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM YOUR
SET AT TRANZ-MISSION?

I play accordingly to the crowd and try to respond to what I am feeling from
the dance floor. It is this 'live aspect' of djing that I find most exciting and still
gives me a buzz every time I play. As I always do, I will be giving 100% of myself and play to the best of my ability. I have a lot of new material, but it is essential sometimes, when it feels right to drop a random classic. I am fully equipped
for the experience :)

WHAT'S THE MADDEST PLACE YOU HAVE
PLAYED AT?

That's a hard one....mmmm. I think have been playing for so many mad
places over the years that I can’t pinpoint one in particular off the top of my head.

DO YOU STILL GO TO TRADE?
I don't go clubbing anymore for my past times. Being in clubs week in
week out, it is vital for me to keep a balance and a clear mind so I can
carry on performing at the best of my capabilities and produce music.
